The Vice President was in Camarines Sur for a series of events.
At 9:00 am, she attended theBakunado si Lolo at Lola, Iwas PulmonyaCaravan in Naga City People’s Hall, Naga City. The city has been giving free vaccines through their Senior Immunization Program since 2012. This year’s caravan aimed to provide 500 senior citizens with free pneumococcal vaccinations. This is in line with the Department of Health’s (DOH) Pneumonia Caravan, in compliance with RA 9994 Senior Citizens Act where the elderly are given free pneumococcal and influenza vaccines.
At 10:00 am, the Vice President went to Ateneo de Naga University Junior High School’s Istorya ng Pag-asa (INP)Photo Gallery Opening in Naga City. The INP Photo Gallery aims to showcase different stories of hope of ordinary Filipinos who have endured their everyday trials and serve as an inspiration to their fellow Filipinos.
