This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA.     The Vice President was in Eastern Samar for a series of events.

    At 8:00 am, she presided the turnover of Angat Buhay Multicab to Matarinao School of Fisheries and Groundbreaking of Dormitory in Matarinao School of Fisheries, Salcedo. Matarinao School of Fisheries is a service-oriented institution which aims to provide accessible and quality technical vocational livelihood trainings to students. This enables the students to be primarily productive and boast self-earning within the locality. It has not received help from any other organization since it was built in 1971. The Office of the Vice President (OVP), through its locally funded project, provided multicabs to address their problem of attendance and drop out rate.

    At 10:15 am, the Vice President presided the turnover of sports equipment to Salcedo Central Elementary School (SCES), Salcedo. As part of the Bridging Leadership Program of Salcedo, sports is one of the focus areas for learner’s support in their education roadmap. With an opportunity to attain adequate equipment for training, SCES hopes to better prepare its pupils and reach the Palarong Pambansa of the Department of Education. Therefore, Solanaland and Fundlife International, who are OVP’s Angat Buhay partners, donated sports equipment for different sports events. Fundlife International will also be bringing their Football4Life soccer sports program to the school varsity players for a soccer sports camp.

    At 1:10 pm, the Vice President presided another turnover of solar dryers to the Farmers Entrepreneurs Association (FEA). She also visited Cacao University. Founded in 2007 in Salcedo, FEA has pooled its small savings and is now producing cassava chips as one of its major products. However, changes in weather conditions can affect the quality of the food product. With the help of Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI), FEA was able to receive solar dryers that will help address their problem. After this, the Vice President visited the cacao nursery in the FEA farm to learn about their progress and perspective on the interventions in the area.

    At 3:10 pm, the Vice President went to Brgy. Cambilla in Quinapondan to turnover solar kits to its residents. Brgy. Cambilla is located 7 kilometers away from the National Highway, making access as the rot cause of their issues. Team Energy Foundation, Inc. (TEFI) donated solar kits to households who do not have access to electric power lines.
