This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline.     At 3:15 pm, the Vice President was called on by the Philippine Team to the 2019 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) at the Quezon City Reception House. The IMO is the world championship mathematics competition dubbed as the “Olympics of Mathematics” for high school students. The country’s participation is a project of the Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) and the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute. The team won one silver medal and five bronze medals in Bath, United Kingdom. They discussed their achievements and experiences at the 2019 IMO with the Vice President.

    At 4:00 pm, the Vice President led the turnover of donations for Batanes at the Quezon City Reception House. The office’s Angat Buhay partners, St. Theresa College Quezon City Alumni Association and Rotary Club of San Juan-North Spouses, helped in the donation of materials and cash to the victims of the earthquake. On July 27, 2019, two moderate-sized earthquakes hit Itbayat, Batanes that caused the displacement of several families in the area with nine dead and forty-seven injured.
