At 4:00 pm, the Vice President was called on by Inquies Pro Lege participants and staff in Quezon City Reception House (QCRH). Inquies Pro Lege is a mid-year course designed for aspiring lawyers, current law students, and law enthusiasts. This course, organized by Universitas Foundation, Inc., aims to provide a holistic approach to the study of law, and its intimate connection with the pursuit of truth, virtue, and service—values which the course aims to foster among its participants.
At 4:30, the Vice President was called on by the Sangguniang Kabataan Panlalawigang Pederasyon (SKPP)-Lanao del Sur in QCRH. The SKPP is an organization of SK Presidents where the members elect from among themselves the President, Vice President, and such other officers as may be necessary. The SKPP sets the stage for the youth of Lanao del Sur to acquire leadership skills by actually becoming leaders, learn how to speak and be heard, and be empowered to create programs and policies that will help solve society’s problems.
At 5:30 pm, the Vice President was called on by the newly-elected barangay captains of Magarao, Camarines Sur in QCRH.
At 6:00 pm, the Vice President attended the GenWE (Generation We): TamBayan event in Malingap St., Quezon City. The event was an all-night music and spoken work event organized by Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership. GenWe is a series of activities celebrating the 70thanniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The event featured performances from various musicians and spoken word performances. It also served as a platform for other personalities to voice out their opinions on the state of the Philippines.
