This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline.     The Vice President was in Palawan for a series of events.

    At 9:30 am, the Vice President presided the turning over of cheque from Metrobank Foundation to Agutaya LGU in Algeciras Island, Agutaya for the implementation of their proposed Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project in public schools. The money will be spent for the construction of water pumps in Villa Sol Elementary School. Furthermore, it will cover the distribution of hygiene kits and multivitamins to 1,050 students from Kinder to Grade 3. It will also cover the construction of functional electric water pumps in 4 schools in the municipality, namely Villa Sol Elementary School, Villa Fria Elementary School, Agutaya Central School, and Matarawis Elementary School.

    At 10:15 am, the Vice President presided the turning over of motorized boats to seaweed farmers in Algeciras Island, Agutaya. St. Theresa’s College Quezon City Alumni Association (STCQAA) donated 4 motorized boats under their Bangka ni Teresa Program to seaweed farmers who currently do not own boats. The seaweed farmers, along with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) representative, also discussed with the Vice President the seaweed farming process and shared their current challenges in the industry.

    At 11:10 am, the Vice President attended the ceremonial turnover of solar kits and MOA signing between Team Energy Foundation and Agutaya LGU in Brgy. Algeciras, Agutaya. Team Energy Foundation donated 165 solar kits, which consist of 3 light bulbs, cellphone charger and radio to households in Brgy. Algeciras. Brgy. Algeciras is one of the 5 island barangays in Palawan which do not have electric power lines.
