At 9:00 am, the Vice President watched the Widows & Orphans Empowered: A Theater Arts Showcase in the Quezon City Reception House (QCRH). The Office of the Vice President (OVP) invited the group of Fr. Flavie Villanueva, SVD, Founder and Mission Director of the St. Arnold Janssen Kalinga center to perform Women & Orphans Empowered: A Theater Arts Showcasefeaturing families of EJK victims. This was meant to bring individual stories of EJK families closer the people, and to support the St. Arnold Janssen Kalinga Center in its advocacy to help ease the burden on the said families through food and healthcare, psycho-spiritual intervention, legal assistance, educational program, and livelihood and employment.
At 11:30 am, the Vice President was called on by the Lady Local Legislators’ League of the Philippines (4L) Atimonan, Quezon in QCRH.
At 5:00 pm, the Vice President had a meet and greet with the judges of Istorya ng Pag-asa Film Festival (INPFF) in QCRH. The judges then proceeded with the deliberations where they shared notes and discussed the merits of each of the fifteen films.
